An LPG system is very specialised and needs a different service and safety check from the standard car service that you would regularly have to maintain your car. The LPG service is above and beyond the regular service and should be carried out roughly every 12 months or 12,000 miles so in theory, you could have your LPG service carried out at the same time as your standard car service.
